NEPAL NEW ZEALAND FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY OF CANTERBURY

Nepal New Zealand Friendship Society of Canterbury (NNZFSC) is running Nepali class for the interested Nepalese kids on no cost. The class runs on every Sunday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Rangi Ruru Girls School located at 59 Hewitts Road Merivale, Christchurch.

Currently, we have around 20 kids enrolled for the programme. We provide study materials to our kids. We also organize different programmes such as Holi, Deusi Bhailo as per the Nepali calendar. And day trips around the Christchurch city at suitable time.

Besides reading and writing, we encourage our kids to actively participate in extra curricular activities such as dancing, singing and games through the program. Our kids from Nepali class are invited to participate in different cultural programmes organized by different ethnic and multi-cultural societies, Literature societies and local City Councils around Christchurch City occasionally.
